This is a picture of my Grandfather, Constable Thomas Stroud PC 255. He was Military Mounted Police in WWI. After the war, he became a Hertfordshire County Police Officer. He served for 23 years, and retired. He and his family lived in Graveley and St Albans. I am a retired Police Officer in Connecticut, USA. I served 26 years. My son John is a Police Officer in Connecticut, USA. Three proud generations.
