Wolseley Patrol Car HJH 310 - 1946

The Wolseley was a very popular police car in the late 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. This picture shows a car from the old ‘A’ Division with its driver, PC (later Sgt) George Pollard and PC 298 Albert Cook on the right.
The quality of this photo is limited by the fact that it has been scanned from a small 2″ x 3″ print that was kindly sent to me by Albert’s daughter, Janet Cook.
