Hatfield - alleged attempt to break into garage

Transcript

Three men , one who gave the name of Albert William Williams ,  but whose correct name is Albert Day , and Ernest Day and Jack Kleinburgh , were arrested at Lea Bridge , Stanborough , by P.c. T. Parker , on Sunday afternoon last on suspicion of being concerned in an attempt to break into Bremner’s Garage , London Road ,  on the same morning .

Miss Nash , of Welham Green , gave information as to what she has seen about 8.45 on Sunday morning, and the police received information of the occurrence shortly before mid-day. A description of the men was sent out and their arrest was affected as stated .They were charged at Hatfield Police Court on Monday morning , when Supt Farrow asked for a remand for further inquires , and they were remanded in custody , bail being refused .
