Game trespass by Moles at Stanstead Abbotts

Transcript

Arthur G. Moles, of Stanstead Abbotts, did not answer a summons for games trespass. PC Wilsmore stated that on August 23rd he saw the defendant setting snares in a field belonging to to Mr T.F. Buxton adjoining the Hunsdon Road. Alexander McDonald, gamekeeper, stated that the shooting rights belonged to Mr Buxton, the land being hired by Mr Menhinnick.

A fine of 5 shillings and 7s.6d. costs was inflicted.
