Going unequipped - theft of tools at St Albans

Transcript

William Woodford (43), carpenter, was indicted for stealing a basket containing a quantity of tools, together of the value  £3.12s., the property of Albert Angell, of St Albans, on February 27th.

He pleaded guilty.

Mr Grubbe prosecuted, and there were previous convictions.

He was sentenced to twelve months’ hard labour.
