At an occasional Court held at the Police station, Robert Morbary, a tramp, pleaded guilty to breaking a window at the lock-up. P.S. Francis stated that the man threw a stone at the front window and broke one of the panes of glass at half-past 10 at night. The Magistrate (Colonel R. B. Fellows, C.B.) ordered the defendant to pay 1 shilling damages or go to prison for seven days. He paid the money.
