At Hertford Borough Sessions, Alfred Miles, senior, pleaded guilty to being found drunk in Cowbridge, on 17th March.

Police Constable Hill proved the case, and said that the defendant was so helpless that he had had to carry him home.

There had been 49 previous convictions, and the defendant was fined 5 shillings.
