All's fair - petty sessions

Hertfordshire Mercury, 16th June 1906

Alfred Stratton and Thomas Hare, labourers, of Graveley, were charged with being drunk and disorderly at Weston Fair on Monday. P.C. Unwin said the men were drunk and causing a disturbance by wanting to fight. Defendants said they only tried to get some other people at the fair to go home quietly. Stratton was fined 5 shillings and Hare 7s.6d.
