Cannon let off - with a fine for drunkenness

Transcript

George Cannon aged 46, of Windmill Lane, Cheshunt, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly at Park Lane on the night of the 4th inst.

PC Broadwater said the defendant caused a crowd to gather and on the way to the station was very violent. Defendant was fined 2s.6d.

William Green aged 78, of York Road, Waltham Cross, pleaded guilty to being drunk and incapable in High Street, Waltham Cross, on the night of the 7th inst.

PC Cull said he found the defendant lying on the pavement with his face covered in blood.

Defendant, who said he was very sorry, was fined 2s.6d. and ordered to pay the doctor’s fee.
