Drunkenness at Hoddesdon

Transcript

Susan Skinner (58) and Susan Selberg (32) , 7 Pleasant Place , Wormley , both pleaded guilty to being found drunk and incapable at Hoddesdon on January 26. Acting P.S. Camp said that on Saturday , January 26 , he saw the defendants laying in the gutter at High Street , Hoddesdon. He assisted them to their feet and they fell down again . They were drunk and incapable , and were taken to the Police Station and released on bail at 2 a.m.  P.C. Dixon and Inspector Prior gave evidence , the latter stating that prisoners were disorderly at the Police Station . A fine of !0 shillings or 7 days was imposed .
