Ware man found drunk again

Transcript

John Saunders of Kibes Lane, was convicted at Ware Petty Sessions, on the evidence given by Police Sergeant Herring, of being drunk and disorderly on the 13th of April.

The officer confirmed to the Bench that there had been twenty-six previous convictions against Saunders for drunkenness, and a further twelve convictions for bad language.

The defendant was fined 12 shillings and was bound over to abstain from intoxicating liquor.

John Saunders was also ordered to keep out of licensed premises for a period of 3 years.
