An old man over 80 years of age and nearly blind, giving the name of John Doherty, was charged with being drunk in High Street, Ware on October 22nd. Defendant said he came from Biggleswade Workhouse and wanted to get back there. The Bench ordered him to get out of the town as quickly as possible.
