Drunk when driving

Frederick Plastow, of Occupation Road, Wormley, was summoned for being drunk while in charge of a horse and carrriage at Hoddesdon. P.C. Alton said that on Sunday, the 18th ult., he saw defendant driving down Burford Street at a furious pace. He let the horse down, and one of the shafts was broken. He was very drunk. Defendant who pleaded guilty, was fined 10 shillings.
