Straying horses

At Cheshunt Petty Sessions Samuel Silverman, of Wallace’s Yard, Trinity Marsh Lane, Cheshunt, was summoned for allowing two horses to stray on July 4.  PC Green deposed to finding two horses straying in Trinity Marsh Lane, Waltham Cross.  He took possession of the animals, and as he was taking them to the station the defendant came up and claimed them.  The defendant was fined 2s. 6d. for each animal.
