Shaggy dog story -keeping a dog without a licence

At Ware Petty Sessions on Tuesday, Henry Bush, of Hill Farm, Colliers End, was summoned for keeping a dog without a licence. The defendant did not appear.

PC  Gravestock said that the dog was a wire-haired terrier. The defendant’s father wrote stating that he had since taken out a licence.

Fined 6d. and 6s.6d. costs.
