At Hertford Borough Sessions Percival A. Roberts, of 44, Cowbridge, was summoned for riding asleep on July 10.  He pleaded guilty.  P.C. Winchester said that at 10.50 p.m. he was in Cowbridge when he saw a two-horse dray without any lights on.  He got up into the vehicle, and saw the defendant lying at the bottom of it asleep.  He aroused the defendant, and the horses were taken to the stables.  The defendant was fined 5s..
