I was a member of Hertfordshire police Cadets 1957-1960
I remember the mobile station being used at the Puckeridge point to point and the cadets on duty had to carry the heavy back pack radio. Unfortunately I was forced to resign due to sight defect (in those days specs were unacceptable which would have rectified the problem) I lived at Hoddeddon and was stationed at Hertford I enjoyed my short career
