At Much Hadham Petty Sessions William Gunn (36), hay-carter, of Little Hadham, was charged with riding asleep at Much Hadham on the 7th inst. The defendant did not appear. P.c. Emerton proved the case, and added that the defendant was the same man that was brought before the court at the last Bench day, and a fine of 7s. 6d. was imposed.
