" Showing off " costs £1.

There was a differently worded summons against  Harry Roughton , 50 Gillet Avenue , East Ham , who was fined £1 for ” making an unnecessary noise ” with a motor bicycle , at Ware , on April 6 .

P.c. Snoxell  said defendant was in Watton Road and was changing his engine from bottom gear to second gear and  ” revving ”  his engine .

Defendant  was endeavouring to show off to a lot of people .
