Transcript

The manager of the Fox Brewery, Bps Stortford complained to me at 11.45pm tonight , that someone was sleeping about the Fox Brewery yard, as W Hills’ dog was barking in the night, and he heard footsteps moving about in the yard, & one morning one of the workman saw a man come out of the brewery yard as he was going to look after the horses, at 5am. I told him I would inform the Sergeant about the matter, which I did.
