Mr Hills, WatchmanTranscript
At 2am this morning I visited the Fox Brewery in company with PC 48 King. I found the office door open , also other doors on the premises. The dog barked and Hills looked out of the window. I said ‘what, have you had someone sleeping about here?’ He said ‘no, I told the master that the dog barked last night’. I said, ‘the office door is open’, he said ‘well he left it open then he did not leave here till 11.30 last night’. I don’t believe there is any truth in the above report.Police officer
