Frederick Fuller, Drover, reports loosing [losing] 14 beasts near Takely [Takeley] last night about 9.30 pm. He states that he gave a boy 1/- to look after them on a piece of waste land as he went across to the Bull to get refreshments and when he came back the Bullocks was gone. These bullocks belong to Mr. Levi Howland, Stephen Brown End, near Dunmow.Police officer
