From: Supt Wood To: All Stations Stolen by means of House Breaking from Lawley Villa, St Johns Road, Watford, about 8pm on 24th inst.: one silver Hunter lever watch, smooth case, ‘F.C.R’ in monogram on back, No. 5019, value 15s/=, one silver Hunter lever watch, ordinary chasing, Birmingham make, number unknown, value25s/=, one silver watch, very old, English double case verge, one curb silver Albert chain, value 15s/=, one ditto, value 13s/=, and about £9 in gold the property of F C Robins; one lady’s silver watch, white dial with flower back numerals & hands, chased back, no. unknown, one lady’s silver chain attached (short), one gold curb bracelet, value 10s/=, one silver cake basket, property of Ethel Rance. Entrance effected by forcing back door with a jemmy.Police officer
