From: Insp. Hassell To: All Stations Hired at 1pm today from Mr Edgar Salisbury. Major Green, Harpenden & not yet returned, a gent’s Sunbeam bicycle, 25 inch frame, Clinch tyres been recovered, rubber pedals, steel mud guards, black handle bars, gear case , bell, no lamp, value £5.10, by a man who left a card bearing the name of Albert Bewick, Club House Rd., St Albans, age about 24 years, height 5ft 6, fair complexion, clean shaven, dress - brown suit, stand up collar, straw hat with black band. Please cause enquiries to be made. Found.Police officer
