At 11.40 am today, I was on duty in Church Street, I heard shouting as if someone was trying to get a horse to move. I proceeded along Church Street and saw a horse belonging to Frederick Bird of Thorley, Carter, in charge of a boy named Hill. The horse was loaded with gravel & in drawing the load up the hill it fell down & after the horse got up it had several cut about it & no one was hurt.Police officer
