From: Supt. Wood To: All Stations Copy of message from Bedford Boro. Police. Stolen from this Boro. yesterday and disposed of between here and London, as the man was tailed to St. Pancras Station where he got a bag &c. from the cloakroom, a lady’s gold watch, gold dial, black numerals chased with roses, 18ct. gold case, gold dome, small dent on outer case. Also a Coventry Challenger bicycle, free wheel, plated rim, black lined with gold, black leather gear case, turned up handle bars, front tyre brake, back pedal brake. Please cause special enquiries to be made.Police officer
