Mrs. Miller, Barwick, High Cross, near Ware reports that on Saturday the 23^rd Nov. 1901 at 10pm, she was proceeding home from the Boars Head P.H., Bps. Stortford, she lost a brown paper parcel containing two pairs of new cloth trousers. She thinks they slipped off the cart unawares to them.
