From Supt. Shore To All Stations Strayed from a meadow at Hertford, the property of Mr. Scolly, a grey mare aged 16 hands, long mane & tail. Also, a bay colt thoro bred [thoroughbred], long mane and tail, 2 years, 14 hands, wound on off side of hind thigh, shod alround [all round]. They were seen safe at 6pm on 26th inst.Police officer
