Copy of information from Supt. Pryke, Saffron Walden. Stolen from Blythwood, Stansted since 12th October 1901, a small dogskin purse, knobs at top for fastening, holds about 13 sovereigns, contains about 11 sovereigns, the property of William Pitts, 1st Footman. Also stolen from the same place since the 18th inst. From a pin cushion in the Butler’s Room, 2 gold pins, 1 set with a ruby, the other with a green stone the shape of a shamrock, value about £1 each, the property of Mr. Thomas Sutherland, Butler. Also stolen, a small diamond pin, value £1, the property [of] J. Brisington, Boots. Please cause enquiries to be made.Police officer
