From: Essex Constabulary, Braintree, 26^th September 1901 Descriptive return of expiree Mary Jane Oland (aliases) Griffiths, White & Wilson. Domestic servant, birthplace Hempsford, Gloucestershire, age 30 years, height 5ft, hair light brown, eyes blue, complexion fair (single), marks – oblong scar above right wrist, mole back of neck and left cheek. Has been convicted at Doncaster, Swindon, Marlboro, Winchester, Salisbury, Warminst.er and Devizes. Liberated from Devizes prison on the 7^th Sept 1901.
