From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Wood to All Stations – I have received a letter from Superintendent Jones of Holywell Flintshire who states that a man named Robert Warren who has been residing at Rhyl for some years, Warren has a newspaper dated 1872 with advertisement Warren & Co Dyers, Station Road, Watford (no such place of business here). Supt. Jones asked me to make enquiries throughout the County to see if information can be obtained respecting Warren’s character as he is threatening the Police with an action for false imprisonment.
