Missing from his lodging 33 Cannon Street St, Albans since 7.30 a.m. today Frederick Dupont, a Grocers Assistant, age 23, 5 ft 4 or 5, complexion pale, hair light brown, eyes blue and rather pronounced thin face, small fair moustache, dressed in dark striped jacket and light checked rainproof overcoat, dark mixture motor cap, stand up collar, white shirt, has lately been in financial difficulties and a letter threatening suicide by drowning was found in his bedroom after he left home this morning, please cause enquiries to be made.
