Sir, I am directed by Board of Agriculture to acquaint you for the information of your local authority that a dog suspected of Rabies and described as a white Bull Terrier was shot at Somers Lane North Finchley on the 5th Inst, up to the present nothing has been learnt as to the name or address of the owner of the dog and I am to ask your local authority to be good enough to cause enquiries to be made in that part of their district which is in close proximity to the place where the suspected animal was found with a view of discovering if possible the whereabouts of the owner.
