Missing from home at 18 Castle Street Hertford since 1 pm today Edwin Charles Cheshire age 35, 5 ft 73/4 sunburnt thin face high cheek bones, delicate appearance, light trousers, brown overcoat, military boots and socks marked 36 11 (?), has ribbons of South Africa and India on vest. A Telegram and reply paid has been received by wife handed in at Knebworth Station, please cause enquiries as it is thought some ill has befallen him.
