    Wilcox, Albert, 138, Police Constable, Sergeant.
    Having served as Lance Sergeant 7073 in the 1st and 3rd Battalions, Coldstream Guards he joined the Hertford County Constabulary in 1894. He was recalled to the Colours on 14th May 1900 during the Boer War and served as a Drill Instructor. He re-joined the Police and later volunteered for the Army during WW1, again as a Drill Instructor. Re-joining the Police again he retired on pension shortly afterwards.
