The officer received information from Mr Thrift, Mr Clark and Mrs Clark that a woman had been seen lying by the road near Albury End. Upon arriving at the location, the officer had the woman taken to Bishop’s Stortford Union in Mr Thrift’s cart.

While patrolling Hadham Ford at 10.45pm, the officer noticed a large group of young men causing a disturbance near Chapel Lane. They were asked to be quieter and warned about their language. (Incident continued on next page)
