From: D.C.C. To: All Stations Stolen from a house in course of erection at Kneesworth Road, Royston between 2.15 and 6pm this day, the property of James Farrow: 1 Jack Plane about 14 in long; 1 tenon saw; 1 small hammer; 1 screwdriver, not stamped. Supposed by aman of the following description: age 45 to 50, 5ft 7 or 8, wearing a dark jacket, old dark cord trousers, peak cap, flat on top with button in front, piece of white linen bound round left wristy, heavy lace boots with 6 square nails in centre of heel and 6 clinker nails round edge. These tools have been found.Police officer
