Copy of route form from Ramsgate Borough Police, 26th August 1902 Wanted in this borough for stealing a gold watch, chain & locket, Arthur F C Sawyer, trade supposed Photographer, late residence, Sun Hotel, Clapham. Age30. Height, 5ft 3 or 5 inch. Hair dark. Figure slight. (Single). Scar on left leg. Dressed in dark jacket suit, hard felt hat, stand up collar, long tie & black boots, wearing a gold double Albert chain across vest & carrying a small black hand bag. Description of Articles- A gents plain case gold English Lever watch, second hands, small dent in back of cover, case makers name believed “Kingston”.
- A gold Albert chain consisting of 6 or 8 strands made from a long guard chain, square centre piece.
- A plain gold locket, “Presented to H Bent by J Fenwick & C.” engraved thereon.
