From: Supt Shore To: All Stations Stolen from the White Horse P.H. Hertingford Bury between 8 & 10pm on 16th inst., two pieces of cooked bacon, piece of butter, piece of cooked pickled pork, piece of German sausage in a cloth with pink stripes, by a man unknown, 40 to 45, 5ft 6 or 7, slight build, moustache & whiskers at side, carrying a bag about size of a bushel measure, and may offer almanacs for sale.Police officer
