From: Supt. Wood To: All Stations Strayed from Croxley Hall Farm during night of 13th inst., the property of Charles Sansom, a creamy dun coloured cob, 3 years, 14 hands, long mane & tail, brown patch offside hip, shod alround [all round] with light free proved shoes, has on hemp halter in good condition. This cob was traced to Aldenham & seen following some caravans with other horses. Please cause enquiries etc. Found.Police officer
