Duke To: All Stations Missing from his home since 10am 17th inst. at Hill End, Standon, William Henry Reed, a native of Standon, age 25 years, 5ft 5 or 6 or 7, fair complexion, hair & moustache, eyes blue. Dress – black jacket & vest, grey trousers, white collar, grey tie, flanette shirt, yellow socks white stripes, peak cap, patten [patent] leather button boots, has a bank book in his possession. This man is of an unsound mind & was to have been taking [taken] to the 3 Counties asylum today 18th inst. Please cause enquiries to be made to trace his whereabouts and any information obtained, communicate with Supt. of Police, Ware.Police officer
