Copy of Route Form, City of Norwich In custody charged with conspiring with another man not in custody to obtain £25 by false pretences (horse dealing fraud) and remanded to 9th April 1902. John Baker, a Dealer, states a native of Rugby, age 32, 5ft 3ins, complexion fresh, hair and moustache dark brown, eyes hazel, build rather stout, marks – scar bridge of nose, small scar right knee cap. Believed to frequent Horse fairs & Sales and to be concerned with others in defrauding persons in horse dealing transactions. Was in company of Ernest Perkins alias James and Allen, who is now wanted here. See my information of 28th ult.Police officer
