John Hewitt, Porter of 14 Bemerton Street, Kings Cross, London reports that he was leading a grey cob from London to Mr. F Walls, Garrolds Farm, Broxted and when near the Grange, Bps. Stortford he tied the cob to a lamp post and was going to sit down to rest when the cob broke his bridle and ran away. Found by Harvey [?] Hadham Park.Police officer
