Duke Missing from his home at Vicarage Road, Ware since 5:30am 1st inst., Edward Lufkin, a painter age about 34, 5ft 7 or 8ins, hair dark, complexion sallow, slight dark moustache otherwise clean shaven, large scar on neck and back of head. Dress - black cloth trousers & waistcoat, brown plaid overcoat, light cap, and lace-up boots. A native of Braintree and he has of late been strange in his manner. Found drowned.Police officer
