Copy of route form from Borough Police Cambridge 8th Nov. 1901 Wanted here on warrant charged with embezzlement between the 20th May 1901 and the month of August, divers sums of money amounting to £100, Samual Starton, Bankers Clerk, age about 60 yrs., married, complexion fresh, hair brown, full face, very stout build, height 5ft 10 inches, (marks) short thick neck, full beard and moustache becoming grey. Generally wears a grey jacket suit with light grey overcoat, may be wearing a black square top felt hat or a high silk hat. This man walks very erect and is fond of smoking, supposed to have left here on the morning of the 5th November and will most likely endeavour to leave the country. Please cause every enquiry to be made at once & search outward bound vessels & if found arrest & wire me. Chief Constable, Borough Police, Cambridge.Police officer
