From: Supt Shore To: All Stations Welwyn Post Office was broken into between 3 & 4 a.m. this day and the sum of 8d stolen. Entrance effected by breaking window near the catch. Two other places were broken into in the neighbourhood and 2½ stolen supposed by tramps.
