From: Supt Wood To: All Stations Copy of message from Metropolitan Police. Wanted for stealing on 10th inst. from Walsingham House Hotel, Piccadilly, property of the Marquise of Anglesey- about 40 scarf pins, various shapes set with diamonds, emeralds and rubies
- 40 gent’s gold rings all sizes, set diamonds, rubies, brilliant emeralds and pearls
- 36 charms – charms set with precious stones, one about the size of a 5/= piece, & one the size of a 5/= piece set with precious stones & diamonds in shape of shamrock, one shape of elephant
- 12 sets of sleeve links
- 13 sets of dress buttons set with precious stones
- 12 sets of studs set with diamonds
- one pair of cat eye links set ditto
- about 20 other pairs of sleeve links set with precious stones
- 6 gold watches numbers unknown
- & chain 12 ins long set with diamonds in platinum
