Time Recorded: 6th September 1901 From: Supt Shore Escape from Bengeo Reformatory School this morning William Peake 5ft 5 and Meredith 5ft 6 both wearing Reformatory dress natives of London Amended Information Escaped from the Bengeo reformatory this morning William Peake, age 15 years, height 4ft 11½ins, light complexion, hair dark brown, eyes blue, old spinal disease with recent abscess on hip 2nd Henry Francis Meredith, age 15 years, height 4ft 11ins, complexion fair, hair light, eyes grey, marks – scar on nose Dressed in weekday clothes and each may be wearing an overcoat which they have taken from the farm where they were at work. One also has a dinner basket. Both natives of London. Arrested.Police officer
