From: Supt Wood To: All Stations Stolen about 4pm today a black Vienna coat and vest value about 35/- the property of Messrs. Busse Bros. & Co. Tailors & Breeches Makers, Watford. Messrs. Busse Bros. & Co on tab. By a man who gave the name John Collins, a Tailor, age about 40 yrs., height about 5ft 9in. Hair and moustache dark turning grey. Wearing stolen coat & vest, dark brown trousers with red stripes 2 inches apart and supposed cloth cap. Smart military appearance. Please make enquiry at lodging houses etc.Police officer
