Cheque Fraud!
From: Telephone message book: 11 Aug 1902 - 27...From Superintendent Harrington Saffron Walden to Superintendent Martin – Re H.B. Janes. Described in Police Gazette 22 January 04 Case 18, he is now supposed to be a visitor at St. Ives Cornwall in name C.B. De Lisle, the Capital and Counties Bank and Bolithos Bank there can give his address, a cheque was received at Barclays Bank here yesterday incidentally in Janes handwriting in name of De Lisle.
